Red lacing on dark harness leather, the classic rodeo look that pairs with red dyed boots and red white and blue tack.
These are laced barrel reins cut from 5/8 inch hot oiled harness leather and laced with genuine leather lacing, made in the USA. The lacing is what gives you grip when your hands are wet or your horse is pulling, and it is the part that carries the color. Clips on the ends mean you swap them between headstalls in seconds, so one pair of reins can follow you from the practice pen to the rodeo.
Pick your length. We stock 6 ft and 7.5 ft. Most riders match the reins they already ride in: measure yours clip to clip and choose the closer length.
They pair with our custom dyed Iconoclast boots, matching bells and the tack sets on the site, so the whole horse can match down to the reins. Wipe them down after a dusty run and condition the leather now and then and they will hold their color and feel for years.
